Apps by Muhammad Shahid Khan · Last updated 12 September 2026

This policy applies to every iPhone and iPad app published by Muhammad Shahid Khan ("the developer", "we") on the Apple App Store, including apps released after the date above, unless an app's App Store listing links to a different policy. Throughout this page, "the app" means whichever of those apps you are using.

The short version

Our apps have no account and no sign-up. What you create in an app — your saved items, notes, history, results and settings — is stored on your device and is never uploaded to us. We operate no server of our own and receive no personal data about you.

Some apps are free and supported by advertising from Google AdMob. Where that is the case, the advertising is the one part of the app that sends anything to a third party, and it is described in full below.

Which apps this covers

This policy covers every app published under the developer account Muhammad Shahid Khan on the Apple App Store — those available today and those released later. The complete, always-current list of those apps is on the App Store itself:

All apps by Muhammad Shahid Khan on the App Store

No app is excluded. If an individual app ever needs different terms, its own App Store listing links to its own policy instead of this one.

Our apps differ in what they do, so this policy is written to state what happens where a feature exists. A clause about a permission, an advertisement or a purchase applies only to an app that actually has it; an app without that feature does none of it.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in an app is stored locally, using Apple's on-device storage. Depending on the app, that can include:

None of this leaves your device. We cannot see it, and we cannot recover it for you. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Data we collect

We do not collect, store or receive personal data. We have no user accounts, no login, no analytics of our own and no server that our apps send data to. We cannot identify you, and we cannot link any activity back to you.

Where an app shows advertising, the advertising provider collects data under its own policy. That is set out under Advertising below, and it is the only collection that takes place.

Permissions, and why each one is asked

An app asks only for the permissions its own features need, and it asks at the moment you open the feature that needs it — never at launch, and never for something it does not use. Declining a permission affects only that one feature; the rest of the app continues to work. You can change any of them later in iOS Settings.

Not every app asks for every permission below. This is the full list of permissions used across our apps, and what each one is used for when an app asks for it:

Camera
To show a live preview or to scan something you point the device at. No photo or video is captured, saved or transmitted unless you explicitly take and keep one.
Microphone
For audio features such as a microphone test or recording you start yourself. Any recording stays on your device, and is deleted when you delete it or when the feature ends.
Photos
Only where you choose to import or save an image yourself. The app reads only what you pick, and never browses your library on its own.
Location
Only while a feature that needs it is open — for example a compass heading, which iOS will not report without location authorisation. Your location is never stored, logged or transmitted.
Bluetooth
To read whether the radio is powered on, or to work with a device you connect yourself. The app never scans for, connects to, or records devices in the background.
Motion and fitness
For sensor features, to show live accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer readings on screen. Nothing is recorded or transmitted.
Face ID / Touch ID
To check that biometrics are available, or to lock the app at your request. Biometric data is held by iOS and is never accessible to any app, including ours.
Notifications
Only where you turn on a reminder or alert yourself. Notifications are scheduled on your device; we send none from a server.
Tracking (App Tracking Transparency)
Asked once in apps that show ads, so that advertising can use your device's advertising identifier. Declining does not remove ads; it makes them non-personalised. See the next section.

Advertising

Some of our apps are free and show ads supplied by Google AdMob — typically a banner and an occasional full-screen ad between screens. Apps without ads send nothing to an advertising provider at all.

Where an app does show ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK receives:

Google uses this for ad delivery, ad measurement and fraud prevention under its own privacy policy, which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy. We never receive this data ourselves.

iOS asks your permission before any app may use the advertising identifier for tracking. If you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalised. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security, Tracking.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the app shows Google's consent form before any ad is requested, and your choice there governs how your data is used for advertising.

Other network requests

Apart from advertising, our apps are built to work offline. Where an app does reach the network, it is only for a feature you tap, and no identifier of yours is attached. Examples across our apps:

An app that has none of these features makes no network request at all beyond advertising, and an app without advertising makes none whatsoever.

What we do not do

Our apps do not read your contacts, messages, call history or health data, and do not access your photo library beyond a file you pick yourself. We do not sell or share personal data, we run no analytics or tracking of our own, and we do not build profiles. We do not knowingly process data from children.

Purchases

Where an app offers a paid tier, subscription or in-app purchase, it is handled entirely by Apple. Payment is made to Apple, and we never see your card details, billing address or any other payment information. Apps with no paid tier are free in full, with every feature available to everyone. Refunds for any purchase are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children and contain no content aimed at them. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Because we collect no personal data at all, we hold nothing that could identify a child.

Your rights and choices

Privacy laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the CCPA give you rights over your personal data — access, correction, deletion, portability and objection. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct or erase, and nothing to sell. You remain in full control through your device:

For anything held by Google in connection with advertising, use Google's own controls at myadcenter.google.com.

Retention

We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Data stored on your device is kept until you delete it or delete the app, whichever comes first.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes are noted in the app's release notes.

Contact

Questions about privacy, or a request about your data, can go to contacttoshahidkhan@gmail.com. Every message is read and answered by the developer, usually within two business days.
