## Do you test your own code?

Yes. I started as an SQA engineer before moving into backend development, so everything I ship goes out tested.

## What QA experience do you have?

I was an SQA Engineer at Travelogest from March 2021 to July 2022, doing manual, regression and UI testing across web and mobile releases and leading verification and validation.

## What is the difference between verification and validation?

Verification checks that the software is built correctly against its specification; validation checks that it is the right software for its users. I led both at Travelogest.
